This grand, historically significant, single family townhouse built on Beacon Hill in 1812 required work to maximize its market value before being listed for sale. The Ferree Group performed an array of improvements to the property’s interior, exterior and grounds. Work included installing custom historic replacement windows, refinishing period hardwood and marble floors, installing a new home intercom system, painting the interior, upgrading the landscaping and restoring an antique fountain in the garden.

An older home suffering from outdated décor and deferred maintenance that the new owners wanted to resolve. We executed a renovation that touched virtually every room in the house including kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and seasonal porch - transforming the house into a warm, attractive, tasteful and fully functional home befitting of its surroundings.

The buyer of this condominium planned to renovate her new home in two phases. Phase 1 included opening up the floor plan, upgrading the home’s electrical service and lighting plan, and installing a home theater audio video system. A reproduction fireplace was built as the focal point of the new open living area; and custom closets, built-ins, and radiator enclosures were crafted throughout. The original hardwood floors were refinished and a new formal marble entry was installed. All this was capped off by professionally painting the interior. The new owner is delighted with her renovation and has asked us to return for Phase 2!
